Reduce coal conveyor inspection and maintenance time

Our thermal power plant customers have proposed new demand: Hoping an important coal conveyor line minimizes downtime of the inspection and maintenance, ensuring conveyor a long operating time.

DCCD® engineers arrive at the site, discussing solutions based on conveyor working conditions and customer’s budgets.

We found that the replacement of the pulley lagging, conveyor belt and the belt cleaner is the main reason to cause the downtime.

And the replacement of the pulley lagging and the conveyor belt require 24-48 hours to complete.

1, SLP-1500-A31 slide lagging’s service life can reach 3-4 years, replacement time is shortened from 24 hours to 4 hours;

2, DFS145-5-4 conveyor belt joint’s service life can be synchronized with the conveyor belt, replacement time is shortened from 24 hours to 3 hours;

3, CSR-150-15-1 skirting rubber, 30m skirting rubber will only need 20 minutes to replace;

4, DIR-3 conveyor belt quick repair glue, will only need 30 minutes after apply it on the belt wound;

5, PBCT-2-250 and BCT-1-300-1 belt cleaner have a longer service life, belt cleaner replacement only need 20 minutes.
