Ceramic Pulley Lagging Upgrade for Xinjiang Power Plant – Enhancing Conveyor Stability

In bulk material handling systems, conveyor pulley lagging plays a critical role in maintaining traction and extending equipment life. Recently, DCCD provided a complete ceramic cold bonding pulley lagging solution fora power plant in Xinjiang, replacing the original diamond rubber lagging that had suffered from severe wear and short service life.

The previous lagging showed rapid degradation under wet and heavy-duty conditions, leading to frequent replacements and operational instability. Ceramic lagging, with its superior wear resistance, strong adhesion,

and moisture/oil resistance, proved to be a more durable alternative, especially for industries such as power generation, cement plants, and mining operations.

Our team tailored the installation to suit the plant's existing conveyor structure, which had limited space and older design features. Despite these challenges, the DCCD team successfully completed the retrofit, and the

upgraded system has since been running smoothly with minimal lagging wear.

This case exemplifies our ability to deliver reliable conveyor solutions that reduce maintenance costs and improve operational safety.
